GKSS Match Cup Sweden – long known as the Swedish Match – is part of the World Match Racing Tour. The world's finest match racing crews converge on Marstrand each summer, drawing thousands of spectators, sponsors and business leaders from across Scandinavia and beyond.
Racing takes place in the narrow straits around the island – some of Sweden's most dramatic sailing waters. Fast, close and completely accessible to spectators on the docks.

The sailing story begins in 2010, when a friend inherited a boat and Miranda came along for the ride. Their first trip out of Gothenburg took them into Åstol – a small island just north of Marstrand. Picturesque, still, breathtaking. That was it. She bought her own boat in 2020. Earlier in her career she worked as a diving instructor and underwater filmmaker across Sweden, Asia and Europe.
The sea has always been her element. Marstrand during Match Cup isn't a business event with a nautical backdrop – it's exactly where she belongs.
